MOROCCO SHOWS THE POSSIBILITY OF BRINGING AN AFRICAN RESPONSE TO AFRICAN CHALLENGES

His Majesty King Mohammed VI of the Kingdom of Morocco donates medical supplies comprising of masks, visors, hygiene caps, medical coats, sanitiser, chloroquine, among others, to the Kingdom of Eswatini (also known as Swaziland). Eswatini is a landlocked country in Southern Africa that is currently being ruled by His Majesty King Mswati III. 

Eswatini Prime Minister Ambrose Mandvulo Dlamini receiving the supplies, on behalf of the nation said;

“May I, on behalf of His Majesty King Mswati III, Her Majesty the Queen Mother & the entire Nation, express my gratitude to His Majesty King Mohammed VI & the people of the great Kingdom of Morocco for these gifts which we are receiving today.”

“This is a clear manifestation of the fraternal & warm relations between the two Kingdoms of Morocco & Eswatini. More than anything, it is a great opportunity for all to witness the enduring leadership of King Mohamed VI in the continent of Africa & beyond.”

 

Responding to the address, Morocco Rep. Redouane Houssaini said:

“Since taking the throne in 1999, King Mohammed VI has given high priority to African solidarity. Through this donation, which covers all five African regions, Morocco shows the possibility of bringing an African response to African challenges.”
