ROAD COLLAPSE CREATE TRANSPORTATION PROBLEM IN KENYA SUBURB
A road collapsed in Nakuru County, Kenya has made resident have serious transportation problem. The road was seen having a huge crack in the middle of the road along Shabaab area.
According to resident, There was a big bang and as the rain got intense we heard something like an earthquake before we woke up in the morning to find the road has been destroyed.
Speaking to the media, Nakuru Deputy Governor Eric Korir said they have cordoned off this section as our engineers investigate the cause of the collapse.
Apart from the road collapsed, the area is also witnessing increasing water levels of several lakes including Lake Naivasha. The Lake levels have continued to increase steadily with five families having been displaced. While, several structures erected at the shores of the lake have been submerged.
